Reports and blocking: if a member behaves inappropriately
You can report a member right in the Doma app: press and hold their note in the feed or their comment on an item → “Report”, and for the person themselves - “Profile” → “Property members” → press and hold them. Choose a reason and, if you like, explain. We review reports within 24 hours: if the rules were broken, the note is removed for all members, and if it happens again, the author is removed from the property too. If you simply don't want to see someone's notes, you can block them - that hides their notes and comments only for you.
Which rules apply on a property
Only a property's members see what's posted on it. The rules are in the User Agreement, section 5:
- what you post concerns the property and the work on it;
- you may not insult, threaten, harass, spread illegal content, advertise unrelated things or send spam;
- you may not post other people's personal data and documents unless you have the right to share them;
- you're responsible for what you add and attach.

What you can report
You can report anything other members see:
- a note in the feed - press and hold the note → “Report”;
- a comment on an item - press and hold the comment → “Report”;
- a member - “Profile” → “Property members” → press and hold the person;
- a photo in the photo records - open the photo → “Report” at the top;
- a file in documents - press and hold the file in the folder → “Report”;
- an idea on the “Inspiration” board - open the idea → “Report”.
The button only appears on a property that has other members besides you: on your own property there's no one to report. You can't report your own content.
How to send a report
- Open the report window in one of the ways above. At the top, you'll see what you're reporting: “Report a note”, “Report a member” and so on.
- Choose one of four reasons - they're listed below.
- If you like, write in the “What's wrong - optional” field.
- Tap “Send report”. You need a connection: without one the app shows “No connection - please try again”.
The reasons for a report:
- “Spam or advertising”;
- “Insults or threats”;
- “Illegal or dangerous”;
- “Other”.
After sending, you'll see “Report sent”. In the same window, you can block the author straight away - the “Block: name” button.
You can also report by email to support@digitaldoma.ru: describe what happened and attach a screenshot if you have one.
What happens after a report
- We review the report within 24 hours.
- If the rules were broken, the content - a note, comment, photo, file or idea - is removed for all property members.
- If it happens again, the author is removed from the property.
- For serious or repeated violations, the account may be blocked. The account's email gets a letter about the block: why, and where to write if the person disagrees.
No more than 20 reports a day are accepted from one person - this protects against abuse. A report and the decision on it are kept until the decision and for a year after, and then deleted automatically - as stated in the Privacy Policy.
Blocking: only for you
“Block” doesn't punish the person or remove them from the property. It works only for you:
- their notes and comments will be hidden from you;
- you won't get notifications about them;
- for the other members, everything stays as it is.
You can block someone after a report or separately: press and hold their note in the feed, their comment, or them in “Property members” → “Block”. The app asks again: “Block name?”.
How to unblock
“Profile” → “Property members” → the “Blocked” button at the very bottom → “Unblock”. Their notes and comments will be visible again.
Report, block or remove from the property
To choose, it helps to remember who decides what:
- A report - when the rules are broken: insults, threats, spam, other people's data. We decide.
- Blocking - when the rules aren't broken, but you don't want to see the person's notes. You decide, and only for yourself.
- Removing from the property - when the person no longer works on the property or you no longer want to work with them. The owner can remove any member, the designer anyone except the owner and another designer. How to do it is in How to remove a member from a property and what stays.
Disputes about money and quality of work aren't grounds for a report: they're a matter for the contract. Remarks about work are written when a stage is reviewed, with the “I have remarks” button. More in How to accept a crew's work stage by stage and not miss poor workmanship.
What to do if
- There's no “Report” button on a photo or an idea. The property has no other members, or the photo is yours. The examples on the ideas board don't have the button.
- “Report not sent”. Check your connection and try again.
- Someone is threatening you seriously. Keep screenshots and, besides reporting, go to the police: we remove posts and members, but we don't replace them.
