My plan has ended: what happens to my property, photos and members
Nothing disappears. When the paid period ends, you're back on the “Free” plan, and your property, photos, budget, receipts, documents and renovation history all stay where they were. The User Agreement says so directly: when a plan limit is reached, what was uploaded earlier isn't deleted - only new things beyond the limit aren't accepted. What changes is what you can add from now on: photo storage, the number of your own properties, comments and the feed, invitations. You can renew your plan at any time in the web version's profile.
When a plan ends
The plan's end date is shown in “Profile”: in the app - “‘...’ plan until ...”, in the web version above the plans - “Your plan is ‘...’ until ...”. A plan month is 30 days, and a “Home Archive” year is 365 days.
A one-off payment doesn't renew by itself. While a plan is active, its card in the web version says “Your plan”, and simpler plans say “Already included”.
What stays as it was
- Properties. All your properties stay in “My properties”, with their stages, checks and photos.
- Photos and files. Everything uploaded earlier is kept and opens, even if “Free” has less space than you already use.
- Budget and receipts. The budget, expenses, receipt photos and the Excel export are all there. Till receipts are recognised without a limit on any plan.
- Comments and notes. What was written earlier can always be read.
- Members. Whoever already works on the property stays on it.
- Property passport. What has been recognised is saved.
What changes on “Free”
“Free” has its own limits: 1 property of your own, 500 MB for photos and files, 25 questions to Master Kistya per day, 30 property passport recognitions in total. You can only invite a member who has a paid plan. So after the period ends:
- New photos when storage is full. The app says “Out of space”: photos are saved on the phone and will upload to the server once there is space. To free up space, remove extra photos and files or renew your plan.
- A new property. If you have more than one property of your own, you can't add a new one: “To add a new one, send a finished property to the archive”. In “Profile”, the “Own properties” line will show, for example, “3 of 1”.
- A property from the archive. You can bring it back only when your plan allows one more property of your own.
- Item comments and the feed. You can't write anything new unless one of the members has “Team” (comments) or “Team PRO” (feed). Remarks during stage approval are available on any plan.
- Invitations. A property on the free plan accepts only a member with “Team” or “Team PRO”.
- Master Kistya - 25 questions per day.
If a member on the property has a paid plan
On a shared property, the best plan among its members applies. If, for example, the designer on the property pays for “Team PRO”, the property stays on “Team PRO” even after your own plan has ended: storage and recognitions are counted to the designer, and the feed and comments keep working. Who pays for the property is shown in “Property members”: “you pay” or “... pays”.
Questions to Master Kistya are always counted against your own plan.
More on whose plan applies is in Plans and their limits.
How to get your plan back
- Open the web version and log in with email. The phone app has no prices or payment.
- “Profile” → the “Plans” block.
- Choose a plan and click “Pay”.
- Pay by card or SBP on the YooKassa page.
The plan turns on right after payment, and the receipt arrives by email. Photos that were waiting on the phone will upload once there is space. How the web version works is in Doma web version.
Renovation finished: the “Home Archive” plan
If the renovation is behind you and you need the property as your home's history, there's the “Home Archive” plan: 1 property - after renovation, for keeping, 10 GB for photos and documents, 25 questions to Master Kistya per day, 100 property passport recognitions per year, no member invitations. The price is in the “Pricing” section on the site's home page.
Before that, move the property to the lived-in stage: “Profile” → “My properties” → “Renovation done - move to lived in”. Documents, the property passport, warranties and receipts stay at hand, and the stages become the renovation's history. What to do with finished properties is in Archive and property deletion.
How to tidy up if you don't need to renew
- Extra properties: send them to the archive - on “Home”, press and hold the property icon → “Move to archive”. An archived property doesn't take a slot and opens for viewing, but its files still count towards storage.
- Storage: free it up by removing duplicates and failed shots. Photos of an item sent for review or accepted can't be deleted - they're proof of the work.
- Save what you need as files: the budget with the “Excel” button on the “Budget” tab, the property passport with “Documents” → “Property passport export” → “Export to PDF” or “Export to Excel”.
What to do if
- I paid, but my profile says “Free”. The plan turns on once the payment service confirms the payment. Refresh the page in a minute. If money was charged but the plan didn't turn on, email support@digitaldoma.ru.
- Photos disappeared after my plan ended. A plan doesn't delete photos. Check that the right property is open and look in “Documents” → “Photo records”. Who deleted what is shown in “Property history” - the bell on “Home”.
- I can't write in the feed. The feed needs “Team PRO” for one of the members. Remarks during stage approval are available on any plan.
Checklist: your plan is about to end
- Check the date in “Profile”: “‘...’ plan until ...”.
- Decide whether you still need a paid plan or “Free” will do.
- If the renovation is finished, move the property to lived in and consider “Home Archive”.
- Send extra properties to the archive and remove extra photos.
- Export the budget and the property passport as files.
